    The best thing is we still have Taeyang and G-Dragon solo albums later this year including another mini album from Big Bang!

    Name a major KPOP group who has released a mini album/album in the beginning of this year?
    No SNSD, No super Junior, no TVXQ, No JYJ, No 2ne1, No Kara (2ne1's exaggerated popularity is evident in their album sales, it's quite poor. i thought I should mention 2ne1 anyway, because everyone here will have a cry and tantrum if I don't.), No 2pm. Most of the groups who have released albums in the first half of this year are still rookies. Only been in the kpop industry for less than 3 years.

    Doesn't change the fact that Big Bang's mini album sold 400k+ copies. Easily the highest selling mini album in kpop history

    There's no reason whatsoever to be putting Big Bang's achievement down.

    When ELF or any other fandom combine sales of the repackage with original release nobody points it out, either. You're just looking for things to put Big Bang down and you're better off doing something useful with your time.

    so what group can sell > 400000 mini album and also dominate the digital market at once?
    what group can have >4M download for 1 song,>12M download for one mini album?

    If you now another idol group can do this,show me ok.

    There was a full album scheduled for this year but it seems unlikely with the remaining tour schedule, unless it's in November or December

    That's what I've been thinking. They would be busy with the world tour, and if G's & Taeyang's album out as scheduled, I don't think BB's album would be release between Aug - Nov. The only possible time will be in December.

    Only GD's comeback has been confirmed so far, where did you hear they would be releasing them back to back? They will be busy from late September through October and November with the remainder of the Alive tour, so that is pretty much impossible unless they won't promote them. I don't see that happen except maybe with Daesung

    When people try to argue that popularity among general public is just based on physical sales and downgrades Big Bang's popularity and success, it really gets annoying. You know, digital sales sell hundreds and hundreds of thousands more than physical sales and it is the best reference of one's popularity since it is more patronized by people across the globe.

    Guess what? Big Bang performs well in both. Deal with it and stop being a dumb ass here.
